Washable Nap Mat

A low-sided mat for a cat or a small dog who wants something softer than the floor but does not want to be enclosed.

Low sides, on purpose

The border is padded but only a few centimetres high — enough to hold its shape and give something to lean against, low enough that an older cat walks straight on without having to climb.

The cover comes off

There is a zip along one edge, so the cover comes off and goes in the machine by itself. That is the whole reason to choose this over a cushion you have to wash in one piece.

Size

45 × 35 cm. Cat-sized, or a small dog — a dachshund, a chihuahua, a puppy. Measure your cat curled up and add a hand's width; if that is tight, the Rabbit Plush Nest is roomier.

Fabric

Ribbed flannel, warm side up, padded through the base. Two colours: light brown and silver grey.

Washing

Unzip the cover, cool wash, gentle cycle, dry flat.
