Animal Cave Bed

A hooded cave with ears, a stitched face and a pom-pom hanging in the doorway. Cats like caves. This one also happens to look like a small bear.

Why a hood

A roof and a narrow entrance do more for a cat's sense of safety than any amount of padding. It is the same instinct that makes them choose a cardboard box over the bed you bought them.

Three faces

Brown bear, grey cat and pink rabbit, each with stitched ears and an embroidered face.

Size

One size, roughly 33 cm across and 18 cm high. That is a small cave — right for a kitten, a slim adult cat or a very small dog. A large cat will not fit, and we would rather say so here than have it arrive and disappoint you. The Little House Cat Bed goes up to 52 cm if you need the room.

About the pom-pom

It hangs from a short cord in the entrance and most cats will bat at it happily. If yours is the sort that eats string, cut it off — the bed works perfectly well without it, and swallowed cord is a real trip to the vet.

Washing

Cool wash, gentle cycle, dry flat.
